The last issue of Revue Économique is dedicated to « Economic and Open Science ». It has been edited by Béatrice Boulu-Reshef, Thema researcher and President of the Revue Économique Association, and Loic Charles professor at Paris 8 University. The issue celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Revue Économique and its transition to diamond open access, while reflecting more broadly on the place of economics in the age of open science. It brings together contributions on the history, theory, and practice of open science in economics, with particular attention to open access publishing, reproducibility, open data, research archives, and the relationship between science and society. By combining a retrospective on the transformation of the Revue Économique with discussions of current challenges in data sharing, editorial practices, and public engagement, the issue shows that open science is not simply a question of access to publications, but a deeper redefinition of how economic knowledge is produced, validated, preserved, and disseminated.
